Bar Koko & Persian Restaurant

Being Persian myself it felt great to see a little Persian restaurant in the middle of pacific, thousands of miles away from any other Persian restaurant! I had visited for DC and I enjoyed my experience in this Persian restaurant! The choices of Persian music's they play are great and I mentioned it to the owners! The Persian lady working there and also the Kazakh lsdy both are very friendly and helpful. I asked for sumak two times and they provided it very kindly. The foods, give you more a sense of homemade rather than a "restaurant" feast, which is not necessarily bad.

Overall, Bar Koko offers a unique dining option in Honolulu for anyone interested in Persian cuisine. The grilled meats, saffron rice, and traditional preparations create a flavorful experience that stands out from many other restaurants on the island.

The Persian food is acceptable, especially considering the location is in Honolulu! Very nice staff. Paid parking is available next to the store.
