Dry. Dry pasta, dry veal. Food came out 3 minutes after ordering. Waiters are very nice though.

Feels like fine dining at casual cost Nothing short of great in all context. Food was not only delicious but well presented and the portion very much fit the price. Service from initial greeting to leaving was excellent. We were well attended to throughout. Never saw the bottom of our drink glass, and someone was always bringing us something like bread or drink OR removing old plates/glasses. Never once did I feel rushed felt cared for! The vibe was perfect in my opinion. Nk hustle and bustle to get me out to turn the table. Room was slightly dark but well lit at the same time. Again feels like fine dining. If it wasn't our last night in Waikiki would be back for another before departure. Until next time!

Lovely upscale restaurant. Food was ok. Service could have been a little better but the atmosphere was great!

It’s amazing to have dinner there on a Friday because right after you finish eating.It’s time for the firesworks🎆 You can take the escalator up to the parking area to watch them.perfect!! This restaurant serves delicious food and offers excellent service. It’s guaranteed by numerous awards and has many branches.I visited the Ala Moana branch.

We made a last minute decision to eat here without a reservation. The place was pa ked as expected but we were seated within 20 minutes. The food was delicious as always and we appreciated them accommodating us walk ins.

Really good Italian food in a mall restaurant. On Level 1, tucked next to Macy’s, The Chicken Marsala is a tender breaded chicken breast. The default pasta is Linguine. The special was Chicken and Shrimp Diablo; the small chicken pieces and shrimp were overcooked; it was not spicy. There is a fairly extensive wine list, continental and Napa. Service was good.

It’s a solid 4* for its food and service. A very extensive menu of traditional Italian fares, so you don’t find any “fusion” or Hawaiian-Italian food here I had the sausage olio pasta. By the way, I’ve never seen sausages cut into such large pieces, not in Italy or anywhere on the mainland. They have to be cut into bite size. It tasted good and the quantity was plentiful. Most items on the menu can be ordered either in small or large. I opted for a large and it was too much for me. All in all, it’s a decent place for Italian pastas.

Assaggio is one of our favorite restaurant in Hawaii, we move to mainland and every time we visit Hawaii it is mandatory that we need to have a dinner in Assaggio. We usually go to Assaggio in Mililani cuz it’s closer to my mom’s house, but because we are check in waikiki we tried the one in Ala Moana. It was our first time to experience that kind of customer service my mom live in Hawaii for almost 20 years and told me that it was her first time to experience that kind of customer service here in Hawaii. Our server went to our table in a rush not even smiling, my husband asked for alcohol drink recommendation that is something refreshing and she said that they don’t have anything like that. We order our favorite Caesar salad she was pushing the trolly for the salad the cheese fell on the ground and she was so upset about that with herself, made the salad in front of us and serve it didn’t even offer parmesan cheese before serving the salad so we have to wait for her to come back and ask for it. It was so disappointing to be honest. We are hungry and excited to eat with one of our fav restaurant and get a treatment like that. I think we need to stick to the place we usually go to and will never come back to the one in Ala Moana. The other server host are nice and also the hostess its really our server who is the problem.

Always get the large...eat half and save the other for lunch/dinner the next day. Lol does everyone do that or just me? You cannot go wrong with the selection of veal, chicken, veggy, and seafood pasta options. My family and I had a variety of dishes...I got veal alla sorentino. For the price, large portions, and the free table side bread, we visit this or the kahala restaurant a couple times a year...earliest memory is from high school. There is no background music playing, just a nice atmosphere with people all around you chatting, eatting, drinking, and enjoying themselves.

Service: Phenomenal. Atmosphere: Phenomenal. Food: phenomenal. Worth dipping your toe if you are craving a white table cloth experience with a decent price! I can’t say enough good things! I noticed that they hire really amazing people, and it made my heart smile to be able to contribute to such a lovely space. Would go again and again and again.
