Yikes....the quality of this place has gone off a STEEP cliff from the first time I ordered from them. The steak and chicken were HAMMERED. As in, the steak was shoe leather and the chicken was so overcooked that I had to douse it in BBQ sauce. Same with the purple potatoes. They shouldn't be cooked to the point that they're dry and crunchy. Lastly, they screwed up my order and did not offer a solution when we pointed it out (we canceled 3 meals since the order we placed could not be picked up for an additional 4 days). The worker told my wife, "you might as well take them since they're already cooked." We had previously been in contact with the owner to get a refund for the canceled meals. That was, obviously, not communicated. Please look elsewhere if you're looking for a meal prep solution because this is definitely not it. If I could give zero stars, I would. 808 Meal Prep, please do better.

Quality control is really lacking. The meals are fairly tasty but I order similar items each week and each week it is really different. Sometimes sauces are left out. This week the banana chocolate chip muffins weren't even in a cupcake wrapper! This company seems to be expanding but if there were a more professional, slightly pricier option on island, I'd switch.

Amy and 808 Meal Prep catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding back in April and did a phenomenal job. Amy was incredibly responsive from the day I inquired about her services and leading up to the wedding. She was able to cater, make our wedding cake, provide bar services, linens, and plates/ silverware (I’m sure she could do more - she was truly a one stop shop)! The food was amazing and she was so wonderful to work with!! All of our guests were obsessed with the ahi tuna poke nachos. Thank you so much, Amy! You and your team outdid yourselves and made it so easy to plan our destination wedding! Don’t miss out on 808 Meal Prep - they’re a wonderful local business that cooks amazing food and clearly knows the art of hospitality. Thank you for everything!!
