100 Sails Restaurant & Bar

Awesome expierence downstairs in our hotel. Booked the Sunday Brunch Buffet. Food was great quality, but I would’ve liked to see more protein options is all. Will be back for the dine in/order experience! Only comment was a larger family was sat next to us with an obviously loud child and it interrupted not only us but others were visibly bothered and the family was never asked to kindly take the child outside or anything. Staff should be coached to feel able to do so in instances when one group is bothering others. Otherwise, servers were kind and attended well. Will return! Mahalo 🤙🏼🏝️

The food wasn't all that expected. Good variety but quality for the price... wasn't worth it. Quantity makes up for the price if you're a big eater. Kampachi sashimi seem to be quite fresh and firm while the salmon and ahi were not. Small steamed snow crab was sweet. Carving station prime rib wasn't so prime, pork belly was worth the try. Garlic Yukon mash potato was a HIT! Tofu salad, delightful. Top off with bread pudding with vanilla ice cream is a must. Seating was very spacious between tables, view of harbor and ocean were pleasant. Alcohol is not included. Tip is automatic added for a group. Never understood tipping amount for a buffet especially when we're not served.

We arrived on a Friday when they opened at 5pm. Crab legs were the main dish on the buffet. Get there early for this. It gets crowded. View is amazing, chairs are soft with a hard back. Waitress was on point and consistently filled our water. PANIOLO BURGER was very good. Chicken wings had a light flavor. The chocolate crunch cake was a disappointment. Soggy, small slice. Under whelming.

I was really excited to try the buffet at 100 Sails, but ultimately, the experience left a little to be desired. The restaurant is located inside the Prince Waikiki hotel. We made a reservation on OpenTable. The dinner buffet itself is $89 per adult, and, with tax and tip, comes out to over $100 per person. For that price, I feel like the variety and quality of the buffet was lacking. I was especially disappointed with the quality of the poke as it did not taste very fresh. I had better poke from much cheaper poke joints around Oahu. I did, however, really enjoy the clam chowder. I also liked my Ocean Mai Tai. That being said, I don’t think I would return as I believe that there are buffets that offer better quality and variety for around the same price point or less.

Staying in the club room at Prince Waikiki gave us breakfast access at 100 Sails each morning, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. I really appreciated that breakfast starts as early as 6:30 AM, which made it easy to enjoy a relaxed meal before heading out for the day. Whenever the restaurant wasn’t too busy, we were kindly seated by the window, where the beautiful harbor view made breakfast even more enjoyable. Because it’s buffet style, you can choose exactly how much and what you’d like to eat. The variety was excellent, and the live omelet station was an absolute must for me every morning. The chef was happy to prepare fresh omelets, and if requested, he would kindly set the finished plate aside for pickup. As expected from a Japanese-affiliated hotel, having miso soup and rice available was a comforting and appreciated touch. The fresh fruit juice was delicious, and the coffee was rich and flavorful. The service was also excellent. The timing for clearing plates was perfect, and one of the staff members on the floor was especially attentive, kindly offering coffee refills at just the right moments. Although breakfast was included with our club room stay, we happily left a $15 tip for the outstanding service. Overall, 100 Sails provided a wonderful breakfast experience with great food, beautiful views, and exceptional hospitality.

Special holiday buffet had prime rib, sushi hand rolls, sashimi, lamb, and crab legs. Crab legs were a 5 star course. The quality of the rest of the food though was average. Veggies weren’t fully steamed. Some food tasted like they had been left out. Fried squid wasn’t crispy. Dessert didn’t wow us. Lines for prime rib and crab legs got a bit crazy long. Service though remained exceptional! On a different day - Happy hour prices got us a nice lobster roll! Good drink prices as well. No reservation required for happy hour. Restaurant has a nice view. Happy hour is Bartop seating. Parking validated through the Prince hotel (2.5 hours for dining in) self park. If you use valet, it is $10 validated.

I honestly wish I could give 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar more than five stars because everything was amazing—from the service, to the view, to the food. I absolutely gorged myself on snow crab legs and ahi sashimi and definitely got my money’s worth, LOL. Quick heads up though: there is no complimentary champagne, sparkling wine or mimosas. Drinks are separate, so it’s $89 plus whatever you order at the bar. Just know that going in. That said… you can more than make up for it with the food alone. The seafood selection is insane. On top of the snow crab and ahi sashimi, they had yellowtail, king salmon, shrimp, oysters—pretty much anything you could want. They even have a sushi station where they make hand rolls customized to whatever you’re craving. I didn’t even make it over there because I was too busy loading up on shellfish and enjoying that gorgeous view. Five stars. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience at 100 Sails, and that is largely thanks to our server, Willene. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of from start to finish. ​I ordered a drink that wasn't quite to my taste, and without any hesitation, Willene noticed and immediately offered to change it for me. It’s rare to find that level of attentiveness! Beyond being accommodating, she gave us excellent menu recommendations, pointing out dishes that were high quality and great value for the price. ​If you’re dining here, definitely ask for Willene—she is professional, kind, and truly understands what great hospitality looks like. We will definitely be back!

Food was very good. Our table ordered fish, chicken, pasta and flatbread. No complaints there. However, server Willane started out attentive and friendly. After she took our orders and delivered the drinks, she disappeared. Our food was delivered by someone else. She never came to ask if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else. After finishing our food and sitting for a long time, finally flagged her down to request the check. We would have ordered dessert, but the service was too poor.

We went for the dinner chefs special buffet. It was amazing. Great view of sunset. Downside windows were very dirty. Food was amazing, very tasty and plenty options. Fresh catch fish was 10/10. Service was perfect. I haven’t felt so taken care of in the while.
