Cafe Haleiwa

We ordered specials, steak rancheros and chicken chile verde breakfast burrito. The food was so delicious and flavorful. Staff were so sweet and kind, making sure we were enjoying our food. Our only sadness is that we just discovered this place. Will be back for sure!

I had the avocado toast and my fiance had the big breakfast burrito. He loved it! And my avocado toast was wonderful. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff.

Stopped here on our exploration of the North Shore. This place was recommended on Amanda and Felix Eats YouTube channel so we had it flagged to visit during our trip. I got the Breakfast in a Barrell and my fiancée the Avocado Toast. Both were quite tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place was cozy.

Came here after snorkeling with sharks on the north coast. The locals on the boat recommended it, and I'm really happy they did. My steak was incredible and everyone was so friendly.

Cute little cafe with good food. Old school and easy going vibes. Food was very good, the breakfast burrito (add sausage) and French toast were amazing. Our friend ordered the breakfast sandwich and was a little disappointed though, it looked kind of mediocre. Busy on a Saturday morning, but didn’t have to wait too long.

Delicious food, and great coffee! There’s outdoor seating, which I didn’t realize when I went here and when I was leaving I saw it, but the inside has a nice islander diner old fashioned vibe which was quite nice also.

We are a group of 6 ppl, we came here during the week for breakfast around 10am. You order at the counter then they give you a number to place on your table that you choose to sit at. We were served our food within 20 mins of ordering. Food tasted average. Customer service was very nice. Atmosphere was nice, bathroom is a port a john that is outside. Small parking lot in the back, we had to park down the street.

It was a delightful choice! The French toast came sprinkled with sugar, and I decided to add some bananas on top – they were absolutely fantastic. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the eggs were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Overall, it was a great experience that truly captured the essence of the local vibe. My wife chose the huevos rancheros, and of course, I had to give them a try. They were delicious and had an authentic Mexican taste, albeit with a unique twist that made them stand out. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Cafe Haleiwa for a taste of the local flavor and a relaxing breakfast experience. If you’re in a rush, this might not be the place for you. It is a truly laid-back traditional North Shore Hawaiian experience

Great place to grab some Hawaiian breakfast - eggs with spam, banana pancakes Portuguese sausage and waffles. I had an omelette with bacon, cheese and asparagus. The French toast was a little tough on the crust. The food was delicious. The service was friendly. No team bathroom - a porta potty.
