7-Eleven
About
A North Shore Essential
When you are cruising through the heart of Haleiwa on your way to surf the legendary breaks of the North Shore, this particular outpost of 7-Eleven serves as the unofficial fueling station for locals and travelers alike. It captures that quintessential island convenience where you can grab a quick snack before heading to Waimea Bay or Laniakea.
Island-Style Convenience
Stepping inside, you are greeted by the hum of cooling units and the specific, comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee mixed with the savory scent of Spam musubi. These aren't just grab-and-go snacks; the musubi selection here is a staple, offering that perfect hit of salt and rice needed after a morning in the Pacific. You will also find a rotating selection of local favorites that you won't see in mainland stores, reflecting the unique culinary preferences of Oahu residents.
Know Before You Go
It gets busy here, especially during the peak surf season when boards are strapped to the roofs of every passing truck. Parking can be a bit of a tight squeeze given the high traffic volume on the main thoroughfare, so be prepared to navigate a crowded lot if you arrive during the morning rush. It is the ideal spot for a low-key, efficient pit stop where the focus is entirely on utility and local flavor rather than white-tablecloth service. Whether you are stocking up on chilled drinks for a beach day or grabbing a quick hot snack, this stop remains an unpretentious pillar of the Haleiwa community.

Literally the best spam musubi in Hawaii. I also love their spicy ahi rolls. Prices are amazing for premade food ! Oh and don’t forget about the pork hash! The kimchi ones my favorite !

Sometimes this 7-eleven is our first stop on the North Shore to pick up drinks and snacks. Prepared food is always fresh and definitely a value. Store is always clean. Parking lot always has empty slots. No hesitation to grab a bite to eat or a fresh cup of coffee from 7-eleven in the morning.
