Wong Kung Chop Suey

I have been going to this place for over a decade I have to admit this place has gone downhill. While the prices understandably going up from the 7 buck lunch specials that brought my family here can't be helped what can is service and just love for the food. Service was always pretty quiet here but now they just kinda come up and stare at ya vs what used to be. Maybe too much of a nitpick I know but I liked how they used to be... Also the portions have been halved and the taste isn't what it used to be for example the sweet sour pork and lemon chicken I've gotten have been almost watered down at points and in others over co centrated. With these I got more veggies than meat and especially tiny gau gee. Maybe it's new management and the place still deserves love cause to me it can be a staple again but it's severely lacking and needs work.

I had a take out order I know that effects the price but portions are way to small for the price over $70 for a few items beef and broccoli came with only one slice of beef and all veggies . When I'm paying for $20 a plate I expect a full plate not this side portion bull crap.

Called them to see if they have any soups without a flour base for gluten free. She said over the phone it was only the vegetable soups. Yay! Ordered the chicken veggie soup on Uber eats. Was on lunch at work and needed a spoon. Asked for utensils. Well, not only did I pay for priority (short time delivery and prep) it took so long to prepare that it finally was able to be delivered in the last 15 mins of my shift! Soup: hot as heck. But literally the worst excuse for veggie soup I have ever seen. Literally clear water with ginormously cut veggies floating in it. Hard tough not cooked veggies. Only the spinach was ok. The chicken was Legitimately Rubber. Inedible. Awful. After I ate the spinach and veggies in like 5 bites, all that was left was water and rubber chicken. And they forgot the requested utensils! How was I supposed to eat soup without a soup spoon?? Horrid. Save your money. Go anywhere else.
