Wendy's - Waipahu (Uke - ?e Street)
About
Convenience on Ukee Street
Located right in the heart of Waipahu’s industrial and retail hub, this Wendy’s serves as a reliable stop for locals grabbing a quick lunch or commuters navigating the busy roads near the Waipahu Town Center. It’s the kind of place where the scent of hot grease and toasted buns greets you the moment you step out of your vehicle, offering a familiar, predictable comfort in a fast-paced neighborhood.
What to Expect
The interior follows the classic, functional layout of high-traffic quick-service spots. It’s best suited for those needing a high-protein, grab-and-go meal during a workday or a late-night bite after a long evening in West Oahu. You’ll find the signature square beef patties and sea-salt fries that the chain is known for, alongside the Frosty—a mandatory treat for cooling down during a humid Waipahu afternoon.
A Local Observation
Keep in mind that this specific location shares space in a high-density commercial zone. Parking can occasionally get tight during the peak midday rush as nearby office workers and shoppers vie for spots, so timing your visit just before or after the traditional lunch hour often leads to a smoother experience. Whether you’re looking for a Baconator or a quick Spicy Chicken sandwich, this spot remains a steady pillar for Waipahu residents looking for speed and efficiency.

placed my order for takeout in the lobby, got it on a tray. let her know i wanted TAKEOUT and she looked confused but my receipt said takeout.. she put my food into my bag and proceeded to drop the nuggets on the counter and pick it up with a napkin and drop it into the bag. I did not say anything as the food was being fed to the cat outside. Unsanitary.. and this store JUST opened too…

I was genuinely excited for this location to reopen after renovations, but that excitement disappeared fast. There were no signs posted about anything being out of stock, yet half the items we ordered weren’t available. At that point, put up a sign—don’t waste people’s time at the speaker. We even tried to order the new Thin Mints Frosty Cold Brew, and the cashier just said they didn’t have Thin Mints. So we asked for a vanilla cold brew instead, and *then* she said they don’t have cold brew at all. That could’ve been said in one sentence instead of dragging it out and making the interaction more frustrating. The drive-thru staff were unprofessional and rude, and our order got messed up not once, but twice. They added a kids meal we never ordered and somehow confused a Dave’s Single combo with a Biggie Bag. We ended up having to go inside because the manager couldn’t understand us at the window, which just made things worse. When we showed the bags and the receipt, the manager barely looked at it and said, “So what, you want the Dave’s Single?” Yes—that’s exactly what we ordered, and it’s clearly not on the receipt if you’d taken two seconds to read it. No apology, no acknowledgment—just a bag shoved in front of us without a word. Am I supposed to guess if that’s even correct? This was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. It felt like no one there understood even the basics of their job, let alone how to treat customers. Definitely not worth the stop. Wendys, do yourself a favor and let go of these people. Thank you!!

When ordering, the person was rude and seemed annoyed. When we asked about something on the menu, they acted like we should know. I asked for the "New Thin Mints Frosty" item and they got annoyed and said "we don't have that anymore." Meanwhile, it said on every sign, "Try our new item!" I'll never come back to this Wendy's store.

I was hopeful after they closed down they would reopen better but that wasn’t the case here. Had two baconator fries both with a little sprinkle of cheese and bacon on one little corner. the meat in my burger was red hopefully I don’t get sick. To top it all off the person taking my order was muffled and was rushing us asking us after every item (will that be all?) unenthusiasticly.

Went to get the Veterans Day breakfast combo that was supposed to be offered today. However, I was meet with disappointment as I sat in line to order only to be ignored for 25 minutes just to be told that they are no longer serving breakfast and it was now lunch, the time was 10:57 not 11:00. They only chose to help me once it was convenient for them to say breakfast was no longer being served. To top it all off the floors were wet with no wet floor sign which caused my wife who was with me and also a veteran to almost slip and fall.

I recently had a wonderful experience at Wendy's that I feel compelled to share, especially highlighting the fantastic team of employees who made my visit so enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The staff was not only efficient but also genuinely enthusiastic about providing great service. I ordered one of their classic burgers and a refreshing Frosty, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. The burger was fresh, juicy, and bursting with flavor, while the Frosty was the perfect indulgence to satisfy my sweet tooth. It’s clear that Wendy's prioritizes quality ingredients, which makes a noticeable difference in the taste. What truly stood out to me was the team’s commitment to customer satisfaction. They were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that my meal was exactly what I wanted. It’s refreshing to see employees who take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers’ experiences. Overall, my visit to Wendy's was fantastic, thanks to the delicious food and the amazing staff. I highly recommend this location for a quick and satisfying meal—you’ll leave with a smile!

Man, I’ve never been served cold food from a Wendy’s before and I’m very disappointed. I ordered the loaded nacho burger combo and the burger was cold. It was like I was eating leftovers. The cheese was taken straight out of the fridge and onto the cold beef patties. No heat was applied to any of the burger. The fries weren’t great but not terrible. Not much to say other than I’m glad they were warm. The chocolate frosty was like if LeCroix made a frosty. Or if like you drank all the syrup from a slurpee and you had very lightly flavored ice. That’s basically what the frosty was like, it was insane. I will say the service was fast. But I’d rather it be slower if that’s the food they’re giving out with such speed.

Went here for breakfast and the lady was nice but I noticed something off with my iced coffee. I looked and see white specks floating so I stopped drinking. I hope I don't get sick 🤢🤢
