Pho Waipahu

The pho is generous portions and the broth is yummy 😋 I love the chicken bahn mi to dip in my soup too The servers have always been quick and respectful when we come with our baby! Takeout is awesome too, we ordered a bunch when i was freshly postpartum and couldn’t leave the house yet

The female staff member’s behavior was outright disrespectful and unacceptable. Standing with her arms crossed while dealing with customers conveyed arrogance, hostility, and complete indifference toward her job. This body language is universally recognized as a sign of contempt and impatience, making customers feel unwelcome, uncomfortable, and clearly unwanted. Her attitude suggested that serving customers was an inconvenience rather than a responsibility. Such behavior not only ruins the customer experience but severely damages the reputation of the store. If this level of unprofessionalism is tolerated, it is no surprise that customers choose not to return. Management must address this immediately, as this is a clear failure of basic customer service standards. We come here frequently, and all the staff have always been polite and professional. However, today was extremely disappointing because of this particular female staff member. Her behavior showed a complete lack of basic professionalism and customer-service awareness, as if she had never been properly trained for this job. Her attitude stood out in the worst possible way and completely ruined what has otherwise been a good experience at this location.

Hubs and I were starving (ok I was) after visiting a doggie boarding place in Kunia and decided to grab lunch somewhere - found this place thanks to Yelp! It’s located in the same shopping center as Pacific Supermarket, which gets busy on the weekends so you’ll probably end up parking in the lower lot but at least there’s parking! It was peak lunch time so there weren’t any tables availability but the entire counter was free so we got our pick of seats. Before we even ordered, a table freed up so we thankfully avoided staring at a wall of black marble for our entire meal. It was pretty marble, don’t get me wrong, but wouldn’t have made for a great dining experience with the hubs. The servers were quick and efficient - had to be in that busy restaurant - and we soon got our Oxtail Soup (mine) and Steak and Meatball Pho (hubs). We probably didn’t need the order of fried spring rolls but we were starving - wished they came first to take off the edge but they came shortly after our meals arrived. Hubs says the chili oil wasn’t as spicy as other places but he slurped his whole bowl down so I don’t think that was a problem. Broth in the Oxtail Soup was nicely balanced but the meat could have been more tender. Definitely a solid choice for Vietnamese in the area, would come back to try other dishes!
