About
A Waipahu Staple for Sweet Cravings
Tucked away in the busy shopping corridors of Waipahu, Coffee or Tea has built a loyal following among locals looking for a quick sugar fix or a place to power through afternoon work. The shop leans into a casual, no-frills aesthetic, prioritizing quick service over elaborate décor. You will hear the rhythmic hum of blenders and the clatter of boba pearls hitting the bottom of plastic cups the moment you step through the door.
Signature Bites and Brews
The menu is famous for its extensive list of milk teas and smoothies, but the real draw is the signature Honey Toast. These thick-cut, toasted bread squares arrive at your table glistening with butter, condensed milk, and topped with scoops of rich ice cream. It is a decadent, shareable experience that balances the warm, crisp texture of the bread with the cool, melting sweetness of the dessert. For those who prefer savory, their popcorn chicken is a must-order—crispy, salty, and seasoned with a heavy hand of pepper and spice.
Know Before You Go
This is a high-energy spot that can get cramped during the after-school rush. Parking in the surrounding Waipahu lots can be a bit of a scramble, so patience is key if you are visiting during peak hours. Whether you are looking for a classic taro milk tea or a fresh fruit slushie to beat the heat, this shop remains a quintessential stop for residents craving comfort food in the heart of the city.

Best boba I've found on the island with multiple drink flavors to choose from that all taste great. A little upset about the recent (past 2 months) price increase but still a place I enjoy and go to when I'm in the neighborhood.

There are several delicious milk teas to choose from, and the friendly staff gave me a warm welcome as soon as I walked in. The dining area is small, but clean, organized, and cozy. Parking can be limited during busy hours, but I was able to find a spot easily. My only complaint is the $10 minimum for credit card purchases, which can be inconvenient. Still, I highly recommend this restaurant!
