This place has the worst employees. People obviously not happy with their job and need to enforce rules that aren’t really that serious. I’m sitting down outside and I’m the only one there and Hannah felt compelled to come over to me instead of doing something constructive, to tell me I can’t eat here. I used to eat here but the employees are all horrible. You can tell the owner has got to be the same way. I had a manager (Tracey) come up to me and tell me not to eat outside food when I’ve literally seen her sitting down eating outside food from their competitors. I also seen an employee eating meat from a restaurant on her break. These people are hypocrites and need to be replaced. You need to have a friendlier vibe at this store. Most days the garbage cans are full and the tables are dirty anyways. Employees always huddled up socializing instead of working. After writing this review I was retaliated at by Tracey the “manager.” She told me I wasn’t allowed in the store after asking for something to wipe the table with. She refused to give me her boss ( Sarah H) info either. I’m not sure if Sarah even cares. The culture of this chain isn’t a good one. These employees get so hyped to nag and kick people out of the store. I see them get on the homeless people too. They like to ban as many people as possible. Best thing you can do is not support them financially. Tracey is the one that’s like 65 with tattoos like she’s 18. I’d say she’s going through a midlife crisis but she’s well past that mark. Someone should tell her to act her age!

Here for the smoothies! Worth it! Chillaxer smoothie had a unique coconut taste and the blue spirulina was a nice addition. The da island dragon was surprisingly sweeter and more coconuty but that makes sense since dragonfruit doesn’t always have a distinct taste. We recommend both of them. Freshly made with real fruit and no additives. Easy kiosk ordering. Free parking lot. Cafe was open at the same time as the grocery store portion, but make sure you check online before you go because the cafe could close earlier than the grocery store.

We got the mango sticky rice smoothie and the dragon fruit smoothie and both were delicious

Was really excited to get an acai bowl. I added the ginger mix in for an extra $2. The picture on the screen showed that it would be a powdered mix-in. That's not at all what I got in my bowl. What I got was chunks of Ginger in my acai. I was hungry so I just picked out the chunks of Ginger and ate the bowl as is. There was also another woman that kept going to the counter and complaining about her coffee.

This isn’t just your average high-end health food store. The staff bumps it up a notch. They have such high-quality products, and they are so helpful and always treat everyone with such an easy welcoming vibe. I drive way out of my way to go to this market because they are that good. 🌟

I came here specifically to try the mango sticky rice power smoothie and it was okay. I think it was overhyped via social media but it was a good smoothie but nothing special for me. The supermarket reminded me of a whole Food it was very nicely stocked with

Down to Earth is a gem in Oahu. With several locations dotted around the island, you’re never crazy far from the bounty of these amazing vegan-friendly grocery stores / buffets / made to order kitchens. I was also impressed with the massive selection of non alcoholic beers they had available: NA Guinness & Corona aren’t easy to come by! We had the vegan chicken sandwich & the impossible burger last night which both rated high: 8.5-9 out of 10 on the taste scale & such a good deal for the money you spend there!

It looks and feels exactly like a Sprout in California, except it only serves vegetarian prepped food here. Other than meat products, this place has everything else. Oh, I couldn’t find eggs either, so not sure if they sell eggs here. The prepped food was good, unfortunately I’m not a vegan, but I’m sure vegetarians and vegans would love this place. Even the burgers from the deli were vegan burgers. There were seats if you’d prefer yo eat your food here.

Oh my goodness...if you are a vegetarian, like me, or a vegan...or if you love supporting local...or if organic is your preference...this is a place worth driving to no matter where you are on the island. They have an amazing selection of everything from produce, to groceries, to prepared foods. They also have a huge variety of supplements and natural beauty products. It is even a must stop for tourist gifts because they carry many Hawaiian product lines (chocolates, coffees, honey, hand creams, you name it). I found the cost to be comparable to the other independent markets I’ve frequented on the island. During COVID I believe their dine in options are somewhat limited but they have a large area to enjoy your coffee or meal and hang out, which I also look forward to enjoying in the future!
