Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen

Boots & Kimo’s Homestyle Kitchen was hands down one of our favorite breakfast spots in Hawaii! My boyfriend introduced us to this amazing hidden gem, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The pancakes topped with their famous macadamia nut sauce were INCREDIBLE rich, fluffy, comforting, and honestly to die for. I’m still thinking about them! We also tried the Portuguese sausage, which was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, and comforting in the best way possible. The atmosphere was busy and lively, but you can tell this place is loved for a reason. If you’re visiting Oahu, this spot is a must-try. Come hungry and don’t leave without ordering the macadamia nut pancakes!

Boots and Kimo’s was easily in my top three meals in Hawaii. The macadamia nut pancakes were incredible. There was a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. The staff were friendly, and the system is to order and pay first, then sit down.

Very over hyped place. Not only is it expensive but the quality really wasn't great. Pancakes (tasted like mcdonalds) with macadamia sauce, greasy grilled potatoes and "homemade corned beef" tasted like canned. Fried rice wasn't even great. The iced coffee didn't even have half and half just powdered creamer, which you can get better creamer at a fast food joint. We drove here for our daughters 10th b day and would not come back. Not to mention there's no refills on drinks, there's just runners who brings food to the tables no servers

The food is great and it comes quick. A little different process of ordering but it works. We waited in like probably about 15 mins before being seated. While waiting in line outside you can look at the menu and when you are at the front of the line you will order. Once you order youll go in and pay before getting seated. Once you are seated food and drinks came within 5 mins it was quick and the food came out delicious. Well worth the pancakes with their special macadamian nut sauce. The loco moco came in a bowl which is a little different than expected but it worked. Can't go wrong with the omelette too. All in all worth it to go visit and check it out.

I was visiting family for Christmas and they took me here for breakfast. The line was really long when we got there (around 0930) so it took us about 2 hours to get in and be seated. I think it was because we went the day after Christmas and they also seemed to be short staffed. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with the macadamia nut sauce. The pancakes were not dry and there were lots of blueberries, but the star of the show was definitely the macadamia nut sauce. I ordered two pancakes and it was enough to share. I also ordered a side of the Portuguese sausage and some hash browns. My first time trying the Portuguese sausage and I loved it. The staff members were all friendly and nice! I want to go again the next time I visit so I can try one of their omelettes and get those pancakes again.
