Oceanfront Flavor in the Heart of Lahaina

Stepping into The Beach Club Restaurant & Bar offers a rare front-row seat to the Pacific. This is the spot for travelers and locals alike who prioritize a salt-air breeze over white-tablecloth formality. The space hums with the steady rhythm of crashing waves and the low, constant murmur of patrons trading stories about their day on the water.

The menu leans heavily into island-inspired comfort food. Expect the catch of the day, often pulled from local Maui waters, prepared with simple, bright citrus glazes that highlight the freshness of the fish. If you arrive early, you might notice the staff prepping the outdoor deck, a process that happens with the casual efficiency typical of West Maui hospitality. It is a laid-back environment, though be prepared for a bit of a scramble if you are aiming for a prime sunset table, as the golden hour light makes this corner of Lahaina one of the most sought-after vantage points in the area.

While the atmosphere is breezy and unpretentious, the cocktail program is surprisingly sharp, focusing on tropical classics like the Mai Tai, served with just the right amount of sweetness to balance the heavy rum punch. The seating is largely open-air, meaning you get the full sensory experience of the coast—bring a light layer if the trade winds pick up in the evening. It is the perfect anchor for an afternoon of exploring the historic Front Street corridor, offering a reliable escape when you need a cold drink and a view that reminds you exactly why you flew to the islands.

We had breakfast here after reading great reviews. My mother doesn’t eat much so we wanted a menu with variety. The eggs Benedict was amazing! I’ll venture to guess they make their hollandaise from scratch. $18.95 for the entree. My fiancée had French toast, etc which was also great and under $20. The service was amazing - fast and friendly. Great value and a cozy atmosphere. We will be back!!

Had a great meal at the Beach Club Restaurant at Aston Kaanapali Shores in Maui! Everything we ordered tasted great, but the BBQ ribs were the absolute highlight—super tender with a sweet and smoky Hawaiian-style sauce. The clam chowder soup (Soup of the Day) was creamy and flavorful, a perfect way to start the meal. The atmosphere was relaxed, very fitting for a resort, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

We went for dinner and we were seated immediately with no wait. The view from inside was nice, you could hear the waves crashing on the beach outside. Our drinks were delicious (he got a Blonde Bikini Beer and I got the Passion Fruit Daiquri). We shared an appetizer of Signature Island Guacamole with chips which was super yummy! He got the Eddie's Local-Style Burger and he enjoyed it! I tried the Ka'Anapali Club sandwich and it was incredible but so HUGE that I struggled to finish it all. 😫 the view behind the restaurant was incredible 😍 🙌

Grateful to have a consistent and delicious breakfast each morning of our stay! We enjoyed the simple islander, French toast and the Fried Rice! But our server Cleo was absolutely the best part!! She was so kind, attentive, and always made sure we were happy. So grateful to her for giving us recommendations for things to check out in the area as well!

We ate here almost every day of our 10 day stay, we tried many different items on the menu and were never disappointed. The drinks are great, fun selection, food is great, but above all is the service and atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond and make you feel like family. One morning I ordered just a fruit plate and the server brought me a small breakfast (like I previously ordered the few days before) along with the fruit plate, at no charge! When I say they treat you like family, that’s the kind of thing I mean. Watching whales while eating was the cherry on top! The live music was such a fun experience and we enjoyed every minute! (The poor reviews do not come close to our 10 day experience here so don’t let them deter you; just a bunch of whiners who sound like entitled jerks.) I hope you all have the great experience we have had! Aloha!

Portions of fish are 1/2 a portion of fish, small scallops and shrimp, veggies were fresh. It tasted ok. The server was trying and very nice, actually brought a second piece of fish but it seemed like she was the only one working.

This was a very quiet and clean restaurant. Open early, and open late. You can find just about everything on the menu. Friendly and fast service. We only had breakfast and drinks here, but everything on the menu looked really good.

We spent over two weeks at the Aston Kaanapili and frequently ordered drinks and happy hour specials. We ate at the restaurant a couple times as well. Happy hour food and drinks are the best options for this location. Also, breakfast is way better than dinner. We were disappointed with dinner as it was underwhelming and not very good. We did like the croissant breakfast sandwich and fruit platter. The chicken wings, onion rings, calamari, etc. are delicious and quite reasonable for happy hour!

Nestled between the two pools inside the Aston Ka'anapali Shores Resort, where we stayed, steps from the ocean. The decor has a fish tank at the entrance, small wooded outrigger boat on the ceiling, carved stone piece and carved turtle artwork on a 3D waved wall, behind the bar. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a full bar, that also services the pool areas. Our server Sharmie, was friendly and attentive. The first evening, my husband ordered the Hawaiian bbq sauced ribs dinner, he substituted the sides, for a Cesar salad, healthy option, to be offset by a big swell Maui IPA beer. I started with a lava flow pina colada w/strawberry puree I ordered the pacific grill, tender white fish, shrimp n soft scallops, floating in a creamy white wine sauce reduction, accompanied by mashed potatoes and steamed mixed vegetables. On our second visit, we enjoyed the Thursday evening prime rib special. Our second server Pam, was also friendly, attentive n conversational, as she was from our California hometown, of Venice, Santa Monica areas. My husband n I both got the 9oz prime rib, which as more than enough. I must say, we do a lot of prime rib specials on the mainland, by far this was best we've ever had. Very tender, well cooked n minimal fat. My husband again, opted to swap his sides for a salad, as I stayed w/the mashed potatoes and steamed mixed vegetables. We also had the calamari strips appetizer. He enjoyed his Maui IPA n I had the iced tea, which tasted freshly brewed, did not have that chemical bottled taste. The food is delicious and only out done my the beautiful entertainment, of Jeffrey playing island favorites, also singing happy birthday and happy anniversary, on his wonderful guitar and his entertainment partner Kealani. The beautiful Kealani, wore a long Hawaiian flower dress, accented by a massive garland of numerous strands of fresh water pearls, a large flower and greenery head piece, looking like a Hawaiian Queen. Her Hula dancing storytelling was fabulous. Their entertainment greatly enhanced our dining experience and made it a magical evening, overlooking the ocean and island views, with the ocean waves gently crashing in the background. I highly recommend this dining experience. 5 out of 5 stars.
