Hale Mo'olelo

If your kids are hungry and you are staying at the Westin, the Hale Mo’olelo keiki menu might be the best deal on the entire property. The biggest tip is to visit during happy hour because regular menu pricing can be tough to swallow. Adult lunch entrées run about $25 to $35 each, and our lunch bill ended up at $113. For comparison, the keiki meals are only $15, which almost feels like a pricing mistake compared to everything else on the menu. One major advantage is the poolside service. Being able to order food without packing up the family and leaving the pool is incredibly convenient and definitely part of what you are paying for. The shrimp tacos and fish tacos were both delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and easily the highlights of the meal. The problem is that they are priced like they were caught, cleaned, and delivered personally by the captain of the boat that morning. The kids cheeseburger was the biggest disappointment. It was tiny, more like a slider than an actual burger, and did not feel like enough food for a hungry kid. Overall, Hale Mo’olelo serves good food and the poolside service is hard to beat, but the pricing definitely reflects its resort location. Happy hour is your friend, the tacos are worth trying, and if your child has a healthy appetite, you may want to order a little extra.

We dined at this restaurant on the last night of our vacation, and it was hands down the best dining experience we had. I only wish we had tried it sooner so we could have made a return visit! The food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was casual and cozy. The live music was so good that we kept lingering. I highly recommend the Lobster Roll. It was so tasty! All food and beverage items were great but the Lobster Roll was perfection! Reservations are recommended to avoid disappointment, as it’s a popular place!

This is probably the first restaurant I can truly praise. We ordered chicken karaage, ahi poke nachos, and the 8oz wagyu burger — and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. It’s probably one of the few places in Hawaii where the food is genuinely tasty.

Very casual, i do not recommend for special occasions. You get drinks in plastic cups, even the champagne glasses. Did not offer any refills on my ginger-ale. The live music sucked... Made a reservation for my father's birthday and left with disappointment. The food you get here all looks the same drenched in sauce, but surprisingly tastes good. Our server was very nice and caring but it seemed like there was staff shortage for him to be attentive.

We had opportunity to to-go for one meal - good portion 👍🏼 and have a sit down experience for one dinner. The live music outdoor with amazing weather is worth the experience ◡̈

We had such a great dinner here that we’re already planning our next visit! Service was great and servers were very friendly. We were seated right next to the stage where the musician played, which was lovely. Since it’s right on the water, the view and ambience are great in the evening when the sun is setting. Food was all delicious! My husband and I both got the fish tacos, which were great. Others in our party got the steak, cheeseburger, and lobster roll, and they all RAVED about them! Fries were also super good (And impressing my MIL with a steak is a tall order!) Desserts—strawberry tart & chocolate caramel cake—were a great end to the meal! Food is a little pricey but comparable to most of the other restaurants around here.
