COME EARLY! Less than 30 minute wait if you come at 7 (before they open), 1hr+ wait if you come at 7:30 (when they open) Some of the best breakfast food I’ve ever had, with great service and views. Breakfast Burrito (sub Portuguese Sausage for Ham) and Fried Rice was fantastic. Gigantic portions, more than enough for 2 people. This is a “must have”; but again, COME EARLY.

If you’re in Maui and don’t stop by The Gazebo, you’re seriously missing out. Yes, there’s usually a wait, but it’s 100% worth it. The macadamia nut pancakes are unreal, fluffy, rich, and covered in that signature mac nut sauce that just melts into every bite. Pair that with a solid cup of coffee and the fact that it’s BYOB, and you’re already winning. What really makes it special is the setting, birds chirping, ocean views right in front of you, and that perfect island breeze while you eat. It’s one of those moments that just feels like vacation done right. On top of that, the service was amazing, friendly, attentive, and efficient even with the crowd. Hands down one of my favorite breakfast spots in Maui. I’d happily wait all over again.

I have nothing new to add to all the great reviews that brought me to this place so just reinforcing the message that it’s a fun place for breakfast, setting is gorgeous, staff are very friendly, service is fast, line is long but worth the wait. We went about 10am and waited about 30 mins. We had the big kahuna omelette and the combo pancakes and enjoyed both. Loved it!

Wait approximately 1 hour to eat! They don’t take reservations, but if you want to eat in the restaurant, there is a line outdoors. The infamous white chocolate macadamia nut pancakes were just pancakes. For the price, they were quite expensive pancakes - with no sides $20 for 2 (albeit large) pancakes. The egg, bacon, potatoes breakfast was a bit more reasonably priced at $18, and tasted like a standard diner. Cannot beat that ocean view for breakfast and the gimmick of eating in a gazebo! A few birds around who’ll want to share your breakfast, but it is manageable. Food was served quickly. Free parking available in the hotel lot with great signage to the restaurant. Restaurant is located next to the pool. 3% service charge for the restaurant.

Fun little tiny place. You walk from the parking lot toward the beach. Stand in line next to some poor hotels pool. Watch for whales from line. There are tikis and a whale bell. This place is situated just above Nipili beach. Ask for a half order of everything. Unless you like leftovers. I didn’t know they had a half order of pancakes. Should have done that. I did get a half order of fried rice. Overall the pancakes w the banana and pineapple and mac nut were amazing. There was a pile of whipped something on top and a bottle of coconut cream syrup for the top. Holy cow it was god. Better than the best cinnamon roll I waited in line for earlier in the week. The portions are huge. Staff is nice. Don’t expect a high chit if needed. Just unstable booster seats on plastic chairs. The chairs are all white plastic patio chairs. I sat on my hoodie. Over all amazing spot. Fun. Good flavor. Huge portions.

Macadamia nut pancakes — light, fluffy and packed with macadamia nuts, topped with local whipped coconut cream. Locally made coconut creamer for your coffee. No liquid eggs here — the Hula veggie omelette, Spanish omelette, breakfast burrito, fried rice — all incredible. The only downside is it’s a small place with a long wait. We ate here three days in a row then sadly, on the last day had to leave the long line to catch a flight. We tried another breakfast place that was recommended and were sorely disappointed. Very friendly wait staff too. The Gazebo is more than worth the wait.

Waited about fifty minutes to get in, which felt a little too drawn out for breakfast. But honestly, once seated, the food was solid—great portions, fresh ingredients, island-style cooking done right. Service was absolutely the best, but hey, it ended up being a decent morning. Worth it if you're not in a rush.

What can I say except “you’re welcome”? Be ye warned: the Gazebo is small, and not ideal for groups larger than four. It’s delicious, and popular, and therefore crowded. Arrive early, or be prepared to wait. We waited almost an hour in line, but the views were great and we saw multiple humpback 🐋 whales breaching and blowing. You could be lame and call for takeout, if you feel like cheating and cutting the line, but then you’re robbed of the Gazebo experience, and are simply seen as the selfish and entitled mainlander that you are. Once inside and seated, we were treated to excellent and friendly service, quickly prepared food, and excellent views. Not to mention the best macadamia nut and banana pancakes I’ve ever eaten. The locally made coconut syrup/topping was craaazy good. It’s worth the wait; and don’t skip the mac nut pancakes. You’re welcome.

Found the Holy Grail of pancakes while watching the surf and whales - white chocolate chips, bananas, macadamia nuts and coconut syrup. On a busy Thursday we arrived at 7am and we're 45th in line. We barely missed the first seating, but a table cleared at 8:00. By 7:30am nearly 70 in line. Gorgeous view, very friendly staff. Well worth it! PRO TIP: Ordered Fried Rice dish to go. Brought it back to the room for more than two lunches for the two of us.

Popular breakfast spot with beach views. We read other reviews that recommended arriving here earlier than the 7:30am opening time. We arrived at 7am and it was 35 minute wait after opening. The line moved slowly because there’s limited seating and people don’t rush but it’s a vacation vibe, so what do you expect. We ordered the combo pancakes and the half order of fried rice. The half order portion was huge - I still had leftovers after the meal. Cash and credit cards accepted but it’s more expensive to use credit cards. The view of the water was great and our waitress was efficient. Everyone was chilling and assuming that you’re not in a rush, it is a good place to stop by.
