Dollie's Pub & Cafe
About
A Slice of West Maui Soul
If you find yourself wandering the west side of Maui looking for a place that feels less like a tourist trap and more like a community living room, Dollie's Pub & Cafe is your destination. Situated away from the immediate chaos of the tourist corridors, this spot captures the grit and heart of Lahaina. The air here carries the distinct, comforting scent of bubbling mozzarella and garlic-infused pizza crust, a welcome break from the salt air.
The Pie That Built a Reputation
The menu doesn't try to be everything to everyone; it leans heavily into satisfying, no-nonsense pub fare. The pizzas are the undisputed stars, featuring a signature thin, crispy crust that holds up under a generous layer of fresh toppings. Pair a pie with a local craft beer, and you have the quintessential West Maui post-beach meal. The dining room offers an unpretentious, bustling environment where the clinking of glasses and low hum of conversation make for a grounded, relaxed dinner setting.
Local Insights for the First-Timer
Be prepared for a casual pace; this is a place where locals actually congregate to watch a game or unwind after a shift. The layout is cozy, meaning you might bump elbows with your neighbor, but that is part of the charm. Parking in the immediate vicinity can be a bit of a puzzle during peak weekend hours, so keep your eyes peeled for a spot early. Whether you are craving a hearty appetizer to start or a personalized pizza to finish the night, the kitchen delivers consistent, reliable quality that has made it a neighborhood staple for years.

This is a great local place. Prices are more reasonable here. This was the only place open when they had their big storm going through. Service was good and fast, but still attentive when they were very busy. Drinks and the pizza were so great. Will go back if we are back in town.

Absolutely Amazing Food! This place was packed and once we ate, we understood why. Parking is a bit of a pain but it was only a 5 min walk from our hotel so we walked instead of driving. We both got beers and decided to try the appetizer of Pretzels and beer cheese 🧀 Fantastic! Soft pretzel with delicious cheese for dipping. We also got the Shombay Malombay Pizza and we loved it! We ate everything and left with full and happy bellies. It is pretty loud in there but you can still have a conversation 😉 and there's tv's everywhere to watch sports (including the bathroom stall).

Good food, very friendly vibe, great value. We’ve been there yesterday and returned today. What we liked: ribs, margarita, blood Mary, pesto pizza. Soup was no more than ok, don’t recommend

The place is great, a classic American bar to grab some drinks. The pizzas were really tasty and the service was excellent. Of course, it was pretty loud, loud people around, t’s a bar after all. But aside from the noise, the food was delicious and the service was really good
