Beach House Beer Co
About
Sun-Soaked Sips on Front Street
Perched right where the Pacific meets the historic streets of Lahaina, Beach House Beer Co offers a refreshing departure from the typical tiki-bar aesthetic. This is where locals retreat for a cold pint when the humidity peaks, taking in the unobstructed sight of surfers carving through the swell. The space leans into a rugged, open-air industrial look that allows the smell of salt spray and malt to mingle effortlessly.
Crafting the Maui Spirit
The operation focuses heavily on small-batch innovation. While their tap list rotates with the seasons, you will often find crisp, hop-forward IPAs and lighter tropical lagers designed to cut through the heat. The brewers here have a penchant for incorporating local island ingredients, sometimes pushing boundaries with fruit infusions that reflect the surrounding landscape. If you are lucky, you might catch the subtle, yeasty aroma of a fresh boil wafting from the back.
The Island Pace
Expect a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere where conversation flows as freely as the beer. It is an ideal spot for groups looking to shed their sandals and trade the tourist trail for a communal table. A quick word of caution: the seating can get tight during sunset hours as the golden light draws a crowd, so show up early if you want a front-row view of the horizon. It is a no-frills, authentic West Maui destination that prizes flavor and the cooling ocean breeze above all else.

The good news is that you probably won’t have a wait to eat dinner here unlike most of the other resort restaurants. The bad news is….well, there’s a reason there isn’t much of a wait. The food just ain’t great y’all 😬 They put about half a bottle of BBQ sauce on the chicken breast meal and the stuffed shrimp also had an excessive amount of sauce on it. I got the burger and it was basically a low-level diner quality burger. It definitely wasn’t wagyu beef like the menu said. The pineapple coleslaw wasn’t bad, though! The restaurant is next to the pool, which isn’t a great view, but you can kind of see the ocean on the horizon. We were all super unimpressed. Just peek at my pictures and I think you’ll see what I mean. But if you do end up loving it here, great news: you can buy t-shirts!

1. Don't sit at a table near the pools. The people in the pools are on vacation and are not trying to stifle their splash to save you and your food 🤣🤣 It's Christmas Eve and late, and we just want some food. Thankfully, this place was open. Service was good and the food was pretty good. It was all better than I expected. Their drinks are made by the Maui Brewing Company, so your Coke, etc. may be a little different. My family enjoyed the root beer and "sprite." The service was good as well. I think some staff was off. It's the holidays. We had to wait a while for some things, but overall, it was satisfying. No complaints.

We had great drinks and dinner. My friend has lived around here for 30 years and this is one of her favorite places. We really enjoyed the food, drinks and people. Great bartend gal. 🍻 Oh & If you order the Ruben sandwich, it’s not at all what you’re expecting… But it’s delicious. I’m adding a second review because we had breakfast there the next morning also. Again delicious and I had champagne thank you very much. Cheers to beautiful Maui and the people that make it even more wonderful! Much Love ✌🏽💚
