We started with a beautifully poured, rich red wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The standout dishes were an absolute masterclass in flavor: The Seafood Stew: A rich, deeply savory broth packed with perfectly cooked seafood, served with a piece of beautifully crusty artisanal bread that was mandatory for soaking up every last drop. The charred lemon on top added the perfect bright, smoky punch. Friendly staff and diverse traditional Portuguese cuisine. Cute interior dining room and great wine/cocktail list. Try their bread basket, so good! Also the Piri Piri chicken.

I felt like I stepped into a quinta in Portugal when I came through the cork clad door of Faria. The decor is quaint, thoughtful, and perfectly Portuguese, with authentic Fado music playing gently in the background. Every dish was extremely flavorful, and I was excited to see that they have some Portuguese wine options, as well as even home made ginjinha which was delicious. This is an absolute must visit, and a great addition to the dining options in Kailua!
