Daiichi Ramen - Kailua

Our family had a very unpleasant experience at this establishment. Upon entering, we were met with rudeness from both waitresses. They seemed to be friendly only with a specific group of people. The food was decent, but my son’s ramen was not as spicy as advertised. He had hoped for a spicier dish, but it fell short of his expectations. If you are a person of color (darker skin), I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

Good food, they just ask what you want and leave you alone until it’s time to pay, Spicy Ramen and the Chicken are personal favorites

.. The black garlic tonkatsu ramen with extra meat, and extra egg is excellent. The chicken katsu is also really good. For the volume of food, and the excellent price pint, Daichii Ramen should be the go to for everyone in the local area.

During our vacation we came here for lunch. My friends had ramen, and I had udon. About the ramen — it was quite salty, even too salty, but still somewhat tasty. My shrimp udon… I can’t say I really liked it. At the same time, it was okay, but probably something I wouldn’t order again. Most likely, we won’t be coming back to this place. What completely spoiled our impression was the smell. There was a very strange odor in the restaurant — it was there from the beginning and only got stronger. It was very unpleasant to sit there with that smell. I don’t know what it was, but it left us with a really bad impression. So honestly, we don’t feel like returning. Overall, it’s a place you could visit once for a meal, but for now, we have no desire to go back. Of course, there are still some positives
