Prepare to wait for a table! We visited mid-morning on a Wednesday and had to wait about 15 minutes. All our food was as good as we expect from IHOPs. Service was prompt and friendly. I appreciate the servers leaving a pot of coffee at the table.

I love ihop but they need to get better in customer-service during night time, literally, 15 minutes to take our order and 25 to get our food, my brother’s food came cold and my sister’s steak looked really dry. I love mornings but it’s reallyyy bussy, lunch is kinda but it has good service and time

I am giving one star only because zero stars are not an option. I had a very unpleasant and unacceptable experience at this IHOP location with my boyfriend. After we paid the bill and selected “No Tip” on the payment screen, the waitress tapped the screen again herself, as if our choice was not acceptable. From that exact moment, her attitude and facial expression toward us completely changed. She then came directly to our table and publicly embarrassed us in front of the entire restaurant because we did not leave a tip. She confronted us face to face, saying that she has to pay cooks and dishwashers and that “90% of people leave a tip.” She also explicitly told us: “It’s my rules, it’s my law.” Tipping in the U.S. may be customary, but it is not a legal obligation, and no customer should ever be pressured, judged, or humiliated over it. What makes this situation even worse is that there was practically no service at all. The waitress only took our order and brought the food to the table. After that, she completely disappeared until she brought the check. She never checked on us, never asked if we needed anything, and there were no coffee refills—unlike other IHOP locations I have visited, where servers regularly come by and make the experience pleasant, which naturally encourages tipping. When she brought the bill, she slammed the receipt onto the table, soaking it in water that was already there. I have never had any issues at other IHOP restaurants, but this experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Customers should never be treated this way, especially in front of others.

Needed to grab dinner with the family, saw the sign for iHop and decided to take a chance. Clearly the restaurant was short staffed, the woman pictured in my review did “everything” for anyone walking into the restaurant. She seated customers, took orders, clear the tables and rang up customers as they left. The gentleman pictured in this review did absolutely nothing besides rolling utensils in napkins for the entire time we were in the restaurant. The food was “meh” at best, and the one star I’ve given is a stretch. Had to send my bacon back due to it being seriously undercooked. This entire experience was a -100/10, and I wouldn’t come back to this place if they were giving food away.

My first IHOP experience was in Honolulu, and although that branch was a bit rundown compared to this one, the food was phenomenal. I still remember how amazing the chocolate pancakes were, and that is why I decided to visit this IHOP. While this location looks much nicer overall, I found the pancakes here not as fluffy and buttery as the ones I had in Honolulu. On the bright side, the appetizer platter was excellent, crispy, tasty, and not oily at all. Our server, Sheila, was absolutely phenomenal. She was managing around 11 tables when we were there, yet she was still quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly. The other lady, the larger one with the flower in her hair, was quite condescending and unfriendly. I am just really glad she was not our server.

Good food, great staff and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed our breakfast here. We got their pesto benedict and pesto veg omlette. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area that needs a filling breakfast to start their day

Maui's sole IHOP is located in the Maui Mall, east side, with plenty of close parking. The island's second location in Kihei closed years ago. ATMOSPHERE: This is an aging location but it has gone through a recent renovation and looks great inside. The restaurant is clean and has lots of big windows for natural light. The booths and tables can be configured to handle large groups with ease. FOOD: French Onion Pot Roast Why'd they kill this?! I can't stress at how delicious this dish was. For being a chain restaurant, it's pretty up there with homemade versions. The tender meat was shredded and topped with a savory dark brown gravy, smooth mashed potatoes (AKA instant,) with sides of buttery corn, and their yummy garlic bread. Big Steak Omelette Their omelettes are humongous, not only because they're made with 3 eggs, but they add in some pancake batter. This behemoth is stuffed with steak, fresh mushrooms and hash browns. On top of that, it's topped with more steak slices, cheese, diced tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and a ramekin of salsa. And in addition to all of that, it came with 3 buttermilk pancakes. Pancakes I used to think I could only get creamy, buttery pancakes at local places but they proved me wrong. They're fluffy and the batter has that great taste I long for. Belgian Waffle - The single, thick waffle had that amazing creamy batter flavor, was cooked perfect, and came topped with a mini scoop of their whipped butter. Drizzled old-fashioned maple and devoured it! Breakfast Sampler What a deal this was! It cost less than their oddly pricey omelettes and you receive more for your buck. You get 2 eggs, a good amount of hash browns, 2 slices of ham, 2 strips of bacon, 2 links of sausage, and 2 pancakes. Everything was good but the bacon could be a bit crispier, but I guess I need to request that next time. SERVICE: The staff are friendly and service is pretty quick even when they're busy. Reservations are suggested but turnover is fairly fast. Coming on a Saturday or Sunday morning? Prepare to wait a while. OVERALL: Good food, good service, open late.
