Foodland (90 Kane St. Store #20- Kaahumanu)

The only downfall is on Friday's Hot Chicken and Hot Dog Bento combo - the chicken is perfectly cooked, except for the taste of dirty oil. How often do you change the oil in which the chicken is being cooked? I appreciate the cashiers; they know me by name. It would have been a 5 star review

Can’t get over their poke section!!! All was so fresh & tasty Ps. I think this foodland is more expensive than others in the island

Visited December 24th, 2025 We were on a seventeen day cruise of Hawaii aboard the Ruby Princess, and Maui was our third stop. We wanted this day to be all about the beach for our girls who are six and seven. We were lucky enough to find a beautiful beach within walking distance from the ship. When we first arrived, it was completely empty. It was just us and the ocean. The girls played for a bit, but after some time they started asking to go somewhere else. Everything changed when one of their friends from the kids club showed up at the same beach. Their mood instantly lifted. Shortly after, another friend arrived, and at that point we knew we were not leaving the beach at all. My husband decided to make the day even more special by putting together a beach picnic, Maui style. He walked all the way to Foodland Kahumaanu while I stayed back with the kids. I had been craving salmon poke and raw marinated crab, and he came back with exactly that, along with hamachi sashimi for us to share. He also stopped at Burger King and picked up lunches for all the girls, which made them incredibly happy. Everyone ended up enjoying their own version of a perfect beach meal. My husband and I enjoyed every bite of the salmon poke, the hamachi sashimi, and the raw marinated crab. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I had been hoping for. Foodland Kahumaanu played a big role in creating one of those special moments that stay with you. This turned a beautiful beach day into a truly unforgettable picnic, and it is a memory I will always cherish.
