Chick-fil-A (14 Hookele St Pad 14)

At lunchtime and dinner time they are rocking along and keeping things moving. At breakfast this morning they must have still been asleep. They were in no rush. I thought they might be waiting for someone to catch one of the chickens in the parking lot to cook. Still friendly, and the store is clean.

Danielle the manager I believe (tall older white lady) is absolutely terrible with customer service especially to work at a Chick-fil-A when that’s exactly what their brand stands for. They had an issue on their end with their system and she said and I quote “just get her out of here” which is so dismissive and blatantly rude. I hope she gets pulled and works at a job that better suits her attitude, maybe a gas station.

We finally found it! The world’s slowest Chick-fil-A! Placed an online order then had to wait 10 minutes before we even got the chance ti let them know. Turned the corner and we were the 8th car in line. After waiting for about 15 minutes with no movement we just left and cancelled the order. Avoid the drive thru and just order inside.

Easily the slowest and least organized Chick-fil-A I’ve ever been to. Maybe it’s because I know what service Looks like at other locations but this is a consistent issue. Only giving one star so maybe someone will see this, otherwise lovely staff always and good food when it eventually comes. Also when it’s pouring outside, maybe don’t make the poor kids stand in the drive through. I’ve seen them quite literally soaked more than once.

This experience fell far below the standard I expect from Chick-fil-A. We ordered two deluxe sandwiches, but the order was entered incorrectly, and we received one deluxe and one regular sandwich. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, we were required to pay the difference to correct their mistake. More concerning than the error itself was the response—there was no apology, and the interaction felt dismissive and rude. This reflects a breakdown not only in order accuracy, but in basic customer service and accountability. Chick-fil-A has built its reputation on exceptional service, but this experience did not align with those values. I hope leadership takes this seriously and reinforces proper training and ownership when mistakes occur.

Clean and convenient facility in a good location with ample parking. Chicken nuggets were good as were the french fries. Ketchup packets were confusing to use at first, but once you got used to them they worked OK. A better selection of sauces and dressings are required. Sometimes it's best to stick with the conventional ones (ranch, thousand, marinara, etc.) rather than get too fancy. The employees were helpful and courteous.

Decent food when the food you order actually makes it in the bag. This location routinely forgets to include items in orders over 3 or 4 items. This has happened to my deliveries at least 6 times in the past year. They seriously need a quality control person who ensures what you pay for is delivered. Can you tell I'm hangry?

I am very grateful for the Chik Fil A team in Maui. They are always kind, quick and do an amazing job. They are also very generous. Shawn and his team are doing an amazing job.

Greeted with a very friendly cashier, asked about gluten free options. She didn’t skip a beat, knew exactly what they offered. Ordered 4 chicken burger meals (for our family), one with a gf bun which came in plastic that I opened and put my chicken, sauce and pickle in. Great GF bun, didn’t fall apart and fresh. Fries were tasty, restaurant was clean and the staff was busy keeping it clean while we were there. Bright new location, no complaints, will return.

Although my wife and I live in North Carolina, we've been to this Chick-Fil-A three different times. Each time, I've noticed that the number of chickens running around the parking lot has been reduced, and I wonder... Friendly service. They accurately fill orders and are polite to a fault. And they have reasonable prices. On our most recent visit to this location, we arrived just before a heavy rain. We stayed until the rain slowed a bit. I especially appreciated that no one rushed us out. We stayed mostly dry. We'll go back, if we travel to Maui, again.
