Burger King - Kahului (Puunene Avenue)

This is the 2nd burger king in Maui that I have attempted to get the "hot off the grill" whopper that the commercials claim you order! Not only was the whopper not hot off the grill but the bun was dry and stale. The best part of the sandwich was the ketchup and mayo. Won't be going back to BK at not in Maui.

TERRIBLE I went here because I was extremely thirsty and ordered a small drink and I thought it was gonna be only 1$ because all I had was 3$ bucks on me turns out it was 4$ and and there was no way I was gonna spend that much money on a small drink, the size of a little kids hand and I would’ve never had this heat stroke if that drink was cheaper screw Burger King never order from here and this place is extremely filthy and it smells like toe cheese and urine SIDENOTE-when I said, I didn’t have enough money. They gave no courtesy and said no cannot and shut the window on me and walked away. I find this really unprofessional for a billion company and I have no idea why they also had to tax me coming up with a price for 5.59$for this stupid tiny drink I am really disappointed

I like coming over here in the morning time while it’s very quite and calm,food is good and reasonably priced,staff is very friendly and nice,never had problems in here,I like the place. Whopper,fries and the ice cream cone for desert is good,no complaints.

My experience at Burger King was really disappointing. Me and my boyfriend went through the drive-thru, and the girl at the window already sounded rude while taking our order, even though we were being patient and respectful. When we got to the window to pay, her attitude didn’t change, she looked annoyed and unprofessional. Then when she handed us our food, she suddenly said, “Do you have a problem with me? You’re staring at me.” That honestly caught us off guard and made us feel really uncomfortable. I understand it was nighttime and people get tired, but basic kindness and professionalism should still be there. After reading other reviews, it seems like we’re not the only ones who had issues with the same employee. Honestly, someone with this kind of attitude shouldn’t be working in customer service she should be fired. This kind of behavior is not good for the company at all.

was really good just they forgot my onion rings on burger

LYNN working at the drive thru was disgustingly rude. Rolled her eyes when I asked for sauce for my onion rings then proceeded to ignore my request leaving me at the window for another minute before she comes back and says “do you need something” when she obviously heard my request but seemed bothered by it and maybe she thought I’d just leave if she ignored me for long enough. LYNN maybe you should find a janitorial job if customer service is not your forte.

Nice ladies working there. They had a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the counter and said a regular brings them flowers all the time, how cool is that?

Our order took a bit of time, however they threw in a cheesecake for our trouble, that was kind. Our burgers had lots of bacon and were nice and hot. The bathrooms were out of service but they were able to let me in the men's, thank heavens.

NO REFILLS: VERY VERY DIRTY My recent visit to this Burger King was disappointing, to say the least. The restaurant’s cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The floors were sticky, the tables were not properly wiped down, and the garbage bins were overflowing. On top of that, they don’t offer drink refills, which felt inconvenient. Overall, I expected a higher standard of hygiene and customer service from such a well-known chain. Including very rude staff. I hope the management addresses these issues soon to ensure a better experience for future guest.

This is your typical BK, and on the older side too. Its gone through a few minor renovations but not much has changed. BEVERAGE: Iced coffee - Way too sweet, and hardly a hint of coffee flavor. Leave this up to Starbucks and McD's. FOOD: Whopper - With cheese... My every time order burger. I love the flavor of the flame broil. Sometimes when I feel like a pig, I order a double. Geezuz... Oink! Onion Rings - Frozen goodness. I don't like that zesty dipping sauce it comes with. Ranch or Caesar please! Fries - They're thicker than normal and super crispy. They just don't have that golden arch flavor though. Double Ham Breakfast Sourdough King - $7.19 I had a bit of sticker shock as I saw the price pop on the register, but I was also surprised at how big the sandwich was. I loved it! The sourdough was soft and grilled perfectly with a good amount of egg and ham slices that were topped with American cheese. Highly recommended! Hash Brown - $1.99 (small) Unlike the rest of the fast food industry's rounded rectangles, Burger King's version are small discs. The amount of hash brown in their small size probably equals 1.5 to 2 times the amount of the rectangle version. Good deal! Impossible Whopper - $10.99 (combo) I added cheese as I can't eat a burger without it. Texturally, it felt like a beef patty on my fingers and tongue though was a bit drier. As far as taste goes, I could tell it wasn't beef as the flame-broiled Whopper "taste" wasn't there. Nothing nasty to report but it was missing the juiciness that naturally oozes from actual meat. I also don't rule out mentality as some bites tasted like beef while the majority didn't. LOL. It's weird, so you have to try it. It didn't suck but I'd never order it again. SERVICE: Overall fast and friendly. No major issues. PROS: - Drive thru - Lots of parking - Staff is easy to communicate with - Food is consistently good - Clean CONS: - Nothing
