About
A Neighborhood Staple for Aiea Locals
Tucked away near the bustling Pearlridge Center, Thai Village serves as a dependable cornerstone for those craving authentic Southeast Asian flavors in Aiea. The atmosphere is unpretentious and straightforward—the kind of place where the focus remains entirely on the steam rising from a bowl of Tom Yum soup rather than elaborate decor.
Savoring the Signature Heat
The kitchen excels at balancing the quintessential quartet of Thai cooking: sweet, spicy, sour, and salty. Regulars often gravitate toward the Green Curry, which packs a genuine punch, or the Pad Thai, prepared with a distinct tamarind tang that avoids the cloying sweetness found in mass-market versions. The fragrance of fresh basil and lemongrass often greets you before you even cross the threshold, signaling the kitchen’s commitment to aromatic ingredients.
The Local Experience
Whether you are refueling after a day of shopping or looking for a reliable dinner spot in the 96701 zip code, Thai Village offers a refreshing break from chain dining. Be prepared for a modest dining room that can get quite lively during peak dinner hours, creating a communal, high-energy environment. If you are visiting during the lunch rush, keep in mind that the lot can be a bit tight, so a few extra minutes to maneuver is time well spent for a high-quality meal. It is a no-frills, flavor-forward destination that prioritizes spice levels and traditional recipes over flashiness.

Ordered parang curry... yummy. Must order rice for a side, does not come with dish. Summer roll is delicious, peanut sauce that comes with is a must. Crispy noodle appetizer is a must try. Never tried it anywhere else.

I ordered take out from this restaurant tonight which came highly recommended from my friend. It did not disappoint. The two young adults that were at the front, were so sweet, and helpful. They made me feel so welcomed. I can’t wait to dine in with my family. The Lao Sausage flavors were amazing. We also ordered Lao Curry with chicken, Thai fried rice with shrimp, spring rolls, and the cucumber salad. I definitely will be ordering again.
