Ninja Sushi (98-150 Kaonohi St Ste B101)
About
A in Aiea
Tucked away near the bustling Pearlridge corridor, Ninja Sushi offers a straightforward approach to Japanese dining that prioritizes fresh cuts over flashy presentations. If you find yourself craving a quick, reliable lunch or a low-key dinner after shopping, this local spot delivers consistent quality without the pretension often found in more tourist-heavy districts.
The Omakase Experience
The kitchen shines when keeping things simple. Patrons consistently gravitate toward their thick-cut sashimi and the specialty roll menu, which balances classic nigiri traditions with local cravings for bolder, saucier flavor profiles. The atmosphere is quiet and functional, making it an ideal choice for a solo meal or an unhurried conversation. You will notice the scent of vinegared rice hitting the air as soon as the sliding door opens—a sign that the prep work is handled with care.
Things to Know Before You Go
Parking in this specific section of Aiea can get tight during peak weekend hours, so be prepared to navigate the lot carefully. It is not a place for white-tablecloth service, but rather a functional, neighborhood-focused kitchen where the sushi chefs are attentive and the pace is steady. Whether you are grabbing a platter of California rolls or a chirashi bowl to go, the focus remains on accessible, high-quality seafood that honors the local palate of Central Oahu.

Honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had. The rolls were huge, the fish was so fresh and the service was the best I’ve had on the island. Will definitely be back and will refer to others!

Used to pick up a lot of orders for Door Dash from this restaurant but gave it a try myself today and glad I did! Food was delicious and all freshly made. I ordered the Tempura roll, Rainbow roll and Negi hama bento. The chef added an extra piece of fish on the Negi hama and a whole ahi roll for free! (Greatly appreciated). The free hot green tea is a nice touch also for sure. Will be back for sure the next time sushi calls to me.

Friendly family business😊delicious and good portion sizes. Always dine and with my daughters and always receive great service. They have been providing great sushi and service since I’ve been working at the credit union 17 years ago.
