Cajun King Aiea
About
A Taste of the Bayou in Central Oahu
Located just minutes from the Pearl Harbor historic sites, Cajun King brings a high-energy, hands-on dining experience to the Aiea community. This isn't a place for quiet conversation or polished white tablecloths; it is a lively spot designed for digging into messy, flavor-packed seafood boils that define Gulf Coast dining.
The Seafood Boil Experience
The star of the show is undeniably the build-your-own boil. You select your catch—options typically include snow crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, and clams—then choose your spice level and signature sauce. The 'Cajun King Special' sauce is the fan favorite, packing a pungent punch of garlic and butter that clings to every piece of shellfish. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, put on the provided plastic bib, and expect to get messy. The sound of cracking crab shells and the low hum of conversation fill the room, creating an atmosphere that feels communal and unpretentious.
Why Aiea Locals Keep Coming Back
What sets this spot apart is the no-frills approach to fresh ingredients. You will notice the scent of lemon and boiled spices hitting you the moment you walk through the door. It is an ideal destination for groups of friends or families who prioritize flavor over formality. A minor detail for first-timers: the parking lot in the surrounding shopping complex can get tight during peak dinner hours, so carving out a little extra time to find a spot is a smart move. Whether you are looking for a casual lunch after exploring Aiea or a hearty feast to kick off the weekend, Cajun King delivers the authentic, spicy seafood experience you crave without the pretense.

Popular local place that has spicy Asian American seafood boils from no spice to very spicy. I see a separate dining are full of cardboard boxes that's a little off putting, but the food is good. I really enjoy the crawfish.

On the weekend packed but weekdays not as bad! Food is sooo good we come here only on payday weeks and I will say soo worth the price you pay. Fresh food flavor on point I look forward to one of us saying seafood night lol. We have 2 kids and they share a popcorn chicken basket its so much chicken and fries and with our oldest he can even share some of my bag if he's feeling seafood.

Me and my girlfriend came here on a Friday night; it wasn’t too busy, and we were seated right away. We ordered the Snow Crab Combo #4 with the Cajun and Garlic Butter sauce (mild), and extra side scoop of rice. The food was seasoned perfectly, and they give you plenty of sauce at the bottom to soak your rice with. I’ve been here multiple times, and the food and service never fail to satisfy. If you want a well priced seafood boil that won’t break the bank and comes with great service, this is the spot. Plus, we always leave with leftovers
