Bravo Italian Restaurant (98-1005 Moanalua Rd)
About
A Taste of Italy Above Pearlridge
Perched near the bustling shopping corridors of Aiea, Bravo Italian Restaurant offers a reliable escape for those craving classic Mediterranean comfort. The atmosphere here leans toward a relaxed, family-friendly environment that feels removed from the frantic pace of the nearby retail centers. It is the kind of place where the clatter of silverware and the low hum of neighborhood conversations create a backdrop that feels distinctly local.
Hand-Tossed Traditions
The kitchen leans heavily into traditional preparation methods. Their signature pizzas feature a crust that balances a crisp exterior with a chewy, airy center, often topped with generous portions of savory meats and fresh vegetables. If you are a fan of hearty pasta, the house-made sauces carry the deep, aromatic scent of simmering garlic and basil that greets you the moment you cross the threshold. Patrons often find themselves returning for their reliable lasagna, which hits that perfect equilibrium between rich cheese and zesty tomato profiles.
Local Nuances
While the dining room is spacious enough for larger groups, it is worth noting that the seating arrangement can feel quite close during the peak dinner rush. Parking in the surrounding Moanalua Road area can occasionally test your patience during the weekend, so planning for a few extra minutes to find a spot is a wise local strategy. Whether you are refueling after a day of errands or looking for a straightforward, no-nonsense dinner spot in central Oahu, this restaurant serves as a steady anchor for Italian-inspired cravings in the Aiea community.

My son's friend recommended this place and we are very satisfied with the food. I love that you can taste the freshness of their pasta. I appreciate the amount of seafood in my dish. I wish they added a bit more chicken to their other dishes, but over all still satisfied.

Food, very delicious! From the Garlic Knots, to the Shrimp/Calamari Appetizer, to the main entrée. Everything was smooth. Service was on top game. Saddened, because I forgot our servers name, but she was really sweet and helped us cleaned our table after my husband spilled a cup soda. Lol. So, appreciation to her! Checked in, every so often to made sure everything was good. 👍 Atmosphere, isn't what I expected for it to be an Italian restaurant. Maybe too much movie expectations but it did give "grandma's home feeling". It was nice and mellow.

I'd have never tried this place on my own, but decided I needed a change of the usual places I grub at when in town. My cousin ate here before and said it was good, so what the hell, gave them a try. ATMOSPHERE: Very casual, American-Italian decor and menu. FOOD: Garlic Bread Balls Tasty but too doughy for my tastes. I'd rather have traditional garlic bread with that exact spread on top of it. Seafood Harvest Opted for the alfredo sauce instead of the traditional pink cream sauce. Pasta was a little overdone but the taste was good. Came with shrimp, scallops, fresh clams, canned clams and calamari (too rubbery.) Nice sized portion for the price. SERVICE: We walked in without a reservation on a Sunday for lunch. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. Our female server was very professional and friendly, and checked on us way more than your normal dining experience. OVERALL: Food is good, but not the greatest.
