Bravo Italian Restaurant (98-115 Kaonohi St)
About
A Taste of Italy in the Heart of Aiea
Located just a stone's throw from the bustling Pearlridge Center, Bravo Italian Restaurant brings a comforting, no-frills approach to classic Mediterranean fare. This spot has become a local staple for those craving hearty portions that don't skimp on flavor. You won't find white-tablecloth pretense here; instead, the dining room hums with the steady clatter of silverware and the warm, welcoming chatter of families gathering for a weeknight pasta fix.
Signature Plates and Comfort Classics
The menu leans heavily into the traditions of Italian-American cooking. Regulars often gravitate toward their baked ziti and rich, creamy Fettuccine Alfredo, which arrives at the table steaming with a fragrance of garlic and sharp parmesan. If you are a fan of eggplant parmigiana, their version maintains a satisfying balance of crispy breading and tender, saucy interior. Portions are generous, making this an ideal destination for groups looking to share a few pies or heavy pasta dishes after a long afternoon shopping in the Aiea area.
What to Expect
The atmosphere is unpretentious and geared toward casual dining. It is the kind of place where you can wear your jeans and enjoy a glass of house red without any ceremony. Be aware that the parking lot near this Kaonohi Street location can get quite tight during peak dinner hours, so arriving a few minutes early is a smart strategy to secure a spot. Whether you are looking for a quick bite or a relaxed dinner with friends, the consistent kitchen output and reliable, savory profiles make it a solid choice for local residents looking for a straightforward, satisfying meal.

44 years old and tried Bravo's for the first time. It did not disappoint! Garlic knots are incredible! Italian Gelato is delicious! I had minestrone soup and Cajun chicken fettuccine and they were both outstanding. Service was fast and attentive, restaurant was clean and spacious, everyone was friendly. Highly-recommend.

My son's friend recommended this place and we are very satisfied with the food. I love that you can taste the freshness of their pasta. I appreciate the amount of seafood in my dish. I wish they added a bit more chicken to their other dishes, but over all still satisfied.

Ordered a Togo and some items like the chicken parm and meatballs were good but the lasagna had mushrooms which was a bit unusual and the tiramisu was frozen. Too bad, seemed like a good place.

Food, very delicious! From the Garlic Knots, to the Shrimp/Calamari Appetizer, to the main entrée. Everything was smooth. Service was on top game. Saddened, because I forgot our servers name, but she was really sweet and helped us cleaned our table after my husband spilled a cup soda. Lol. So, appreciation to her! Checked in, every so often to made sure everything was good. 👍 Atmosphere, isn't what I expected for it to be an Italian restaurant. Maybe too much movie expectations but it did give "grandma's home feeling". It was nice and mellow.

Typically, the food here is excellent, and everybody in our party is happy. This particular time I ordered a fettuccine Alfredo and for whatever reason the sauce taste tasted sour. As though the milk had gone bad that they used or something. I let them know and they did remove it from my bill, but I was very disappointed because after tasting that I did not want to eat anymore. And in addition, this made me less likely to go back.

I'd have never tried this place on my own, but decided I needed a change of the usual places I grub at when in town. My cousin ate here before and said it was good, so what the hell, gave them a try. ATMOSPHERE: Very casual, American-Italian decor and menu. FOOD: Garlic Bread Balls Tasty but too doughy for my tastes. I'd rather have traditional garlic bread with that exact spread on top of it. Seafood Harvest Opted for the alfredo sauce instead of the traditional pink cream sauce. Pasta was a little overdone but the taste was good. Came with shrimp, scallops, fresh clams, canned clams and calamari (too rubbery.) Nice sized portion for the price. SERVICE: We walked in without a reservation on a Sunday for lunch. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. Our female server was very professional and friendly, and checked on us way more than your normal dining experience. OVERALL: Food is good, but not the greatest.

bravos is just a local Italian American restaurant. The service is always 5 star whenever I go from the hostesses, the servers, and even the buss boys. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food you can’t complain for the price, I’d definitely recommend the chicken parmigiana it’s crispy on the outside and nice and tender on the inside. I also like to order the Italian salad usually a half is good enough because you have to save room for dessert! The tiramisu is so rich and creamy, definitely a must try. I’ll be back again because I swear I go at least once a month…
